Skills4future- Business plans presentations, ASEM, Chisinau, 14 February 2024

In an effort to develop STEAM skills among students studying in the Business and Administration study program, an interuniversity business plan competition is organized. Students from five universities from the Republic of Moldova will participate in the competition: ASEM, USM, UASM, USARB and USCH with 20 plans. Contest participants must develop business plans, within which all three aspects related to sustainability must be reflected: economic, social and environmental. Thus, taking into account the values and principles of sustainability, the traditional components of the plan must be completed with two additional compartments: social benefits and environmental benefits.

On February 14, 2024, at a meeting organized within ASEM, an international team, composed of project partners – professors and specialists from Romania (UPB, ASE) and Poland (TUL) analysed 10 plans proposed by students to highlight the aspects strengths and weaknesses and propose recommendations to improve them.

The business plan competition, which will be organized in March 2024, will provide the opportunity for students to develop and demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills and initiative.

The contest is organized within the Erasmus+Skills4future project “Developing and improving the STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses”.
