On 25 November 2025, Alecu Russo Bălți State University (USARB) held the third Exploitation Workshop within the European project Skills4Future (Project No. 101081787), aimed at promoting STEAM competencies and strengthening collaboration between the academic environment and the local economic sector.
The event was opened by Assoc. Prof. Nelli Amarfii-Railean, the institutional coordinator of the project. The first session brought together professionals from various sectors – Elena Teplova (SA Elektromanufacturing), Corina Cracan (IS Robospace), and Nicoleta Chetraru (CCF Moldova) – who presented the project activities and discussed the role of transversal skills in the business environment.
During the second session, Cristian Zasadnii (ASHOKA NGO) and Gabriela Cîșlari (Dulce Plai SRL) moderated discussions on the relevance of STEAM competencies for the development of modern companies, with a focus on sustainability, digitalization, and alignment with the requirements of Industry 4.0.
The workshop concluded with a session dedicated to evaluation and final reflections, highlighting the importance of maintaining continuous dialogue between the university and the business sector in order to support the training of young people in line with current labor market developments.
