Workshop organized at USCH, as part of the Skills4future project – New governance and management systems for sustainable higher education institutions

On November 10, 2025, the Exploitation Workshop on “New Governance and Management Systems for Sustainable Higher Education Institutions” was held at the STEAM Center of the Faculty of Economics, Engineering and Applied Sciences at the „B. P. Hasdeu” State University of Cahul. The event was organized within the framework of the ERASMUS-EDU-CBHE project “Developing and Improving STEAM Competences of Students and Teachers for Curricular Innovation and Sustainable Development of Higher Education Institutions and Local Businesses” (Skills4Future) and aimed to promote the exploitation of project results and best practices achieved during its implementation.

The workshop aimed to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and best practices regarding sustainable governance and management, the integration of STEAM principles into university management, and the strengthening of partnerships with the business sector. The event provided an interactive platform for dialogue and idea exchange among representatives from academia, the private sector, and local authorities.

The special guest of the workshop was Mr. Nicolae Dunas, founder and director of Nico Art SRL, who presented the model of sustainable governance implemented in his company. He also shared his experience in managing his second acquired company, Aurul Naturii SRL, where he oversees an Agricultural HUB, providing participants with concrete examples of applying sustainability principles and strategic management in the private sector.

Thus, the workshop combined the academic perspective with practical industry examples, highlighting the role of the university as a key actor in regional sustainable development by promoting an organizational culture based on innovation, social responsibility, and quality, while preparing participants to face the challenges of Business 4.0.
