On September 27, 2025, Alecu Russo Bălți State University (USARB) hosted the first Exploitation Workshop.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bălți Branch, and aimed to promote STEAM competences (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) as key drivers for sustainable development and local business innovation.
The workshop gathered university lecturers, business representatives, and students to discuss the importance of soft skills in business environments and the integration of STEAM skills into the demands of Industry 4.0.
Among the main speakers were:
- Assoc. Prof. Nelli Amarfii-Railean, institutional coordinator of the project;
- Angela Tizu and Ion Tascu, experts from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bălți Branch;
- Olesea Eni, consultant at SA MOLDTELECOM;
- Marcela Munteanu, accountant at SRL SALAMER;
- Irina Iatco, manager at Moldretail Grup SRL.
The event concluded with a wrap-up session dedicated to evaluating the outcomes and formulating conclusions regarding the exploitation of STEAM competences for the economic development of local communities and the strengthening of cooperation between academia and the business sector.
