On March 15, 2025, Alecu Russo State University of Bălți hosted the fourth orientation and information session as part of the Skills4future project. The event brought together representatives from the business sector – IMSP Spitalul Clinic Bălți, SA Moldtelecom, SA Moldinconbank, SRL Daftprim – along with faculty members and master’s students from the Faculty of Exact, Economic, and Environmental Sciences.
The session was opened by Dr. hab., Associate Professor Nelli AMARFII-RAILEAN and Dr. hab., Associate Professor Maria OLEINIUC, who presented the activities and outcomes of the Skills4future project, highlighting its impact on developing STEAM competencies among students and professionals.
Master’s students from USARB, who are also active in the business sector, shared practical experiences from their respective fields, emphasizing the importance of integrating STEAM competencies into real-world applications. Additionally, the event underscored the critical role of soft skills – communication, collaboration, and critical thinking – as essential elements for professional success.
Collaboration between universities and the business sector plays a key role in shaping future leaders, providing students with hands-on experiences and fostering strategic thinking. The Skills4future project continues to promote sustainable and innovative education, supporting the enhancement of competencies required to tackle future professional challenges.
