Outreach/Information Session 2 UTM

On 17.05.2024, the Center on STEAM skills & Innovation of the Department of Economics and Management, FIEB, UTM, organized the second Outreach/Information Session about the Erasmus+ project “Skills4future – Developing and improving the STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses“. The event was attended by business representatives, teachers and students from the Business and Administration, Accounting, Finance and Banking study programme.

The Outreach session was opened by the Head of the Department of Economics and Management Mrs. Rina ȚURCAN, who mentioned the positive impact of the mentioned project on the quality of the study process in the faculty.

The project coordinator and director of the Centre for STEAM Competences and Innovation, Mrs. Aurelia LITVIN informed the participants about the basic objective of the project, which is to modernize the curriculum for the students of the Business and Management study programme, 1st cycle Bachelor’s degree by integrating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) competences. The discussion was attended by entrepreneurs, who said they were open to collaboration and thanked for the opportunity to participate in such an event.
