Third-year students from the Business and Administration study program at the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), under the guidance of Dr. Alina STRATILA, Associate Professor, participated on March 13-14, 2025, in a key stage of the international Skills4Future project. This initiative focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills by creating sustainable business plans. The project offers students the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge through innovative solutions designed to contribute to the sustainable development of businesses and society from economic, social, and environmental perspectives.
During the event, students presented their business ideas before a panel of national and international experts. UTM students demonstrated an original and creative approach, proposing diverse and innovative solutions, including:
- “Green Trail” – A bike rental system promoting eco-friendly urban mobility;
- “Style Vision” – An online platform for customized design and sales of optical eyewear;
- “Cycle Green” – A sportswear line for cyclists tailored to their specific needs;
- “Paws&Relax – Luxury Hotel for Animals” – A high-end pet hotel offering premium care services;
- Other original concepts that merge sustainability with innovation, all developed in English.
The jury highly appreciated the presentations, providing valuable feedback, clarifying questions, and offering recommendations for refining business plans ahead of the final competition. This stage allowed students to perfect their ideas and strengthen their implementation strategies.
We express our full appreciation for our students’ effort and dedication and wish them great success in the next stages! Their progress so far reaffirms the high level of professional training provided by the Technical University of Moldova through essential courses such as Investment Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Quality Management, Business Economics, and many more.
A special role in our students’ success was played by the project coordinator from UTM, Prof. Dr. habil. Aurelia LITVIN, who inspired and guided the teams throughout the entire process. Thanks to her involvement, students benefited from continuous support and strategic guidance in developing their projects.
We congratulate all participants and eagerly anticipate the final competition, where we are confident that UTM students will continue to showcase excellence and innovation!
