The lecturers of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business of UTM participated in the Seminar on “Good practices in developing sustainable business plans”, which took place at the State University “Aleco Russoˮ in Balti, on 9-10 November 2023, in the framework of the project ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-2, No. 101081787 – Skills4future: Developing and improving STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses.

The fundamental aim of this event was to bring together students, teachers, entrepreneurs and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Balti, the Business Incubator of Cahul and the National Institute of Economic Research to develop a business plan model for solving sustainability issues. During this meeting the project partners discussed and elaborated the business plan model for solving sustainability issues. As a result of this model, four groups of students from the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business will be involved in a Sustainable Business Plan competition, held within the project.

The overall aim of the Skills4future project is to develop STEAM skills among students and teachers, contributing to curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses.
