On May 10, 2023, within the Faculty of Economics, Engineering and Applied Sciences, State University ²Bogdan Petriceicu Hașdeu² in Cahul, the 2nd Workshop on ²STEAM fields and the ENVIRONMENTAL challenges² faced by the business environment in the region was held.
The event was attended by teaching staff, students and representatives of the business environment, project partners and other interested organizations:
• 6 representatives from the local business environment from the agriculture, finance, etc. sectors.
• 8 teaching staff from the Department of Economic Sciences, the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the Department of International Relations
• 14 students from the Bachelor’s program in Business Administration and from the Bachelor’s program in Engineering and Management in the Food Industry.
The workshop offered the opportunity to get to know the good practices of launching, organizing and developing entrepreneurial activities, and the topics addressed by practitioners from the local business environment will be reflected in the themes of the interdisciplinary projects and bachelor’s projects/theses within the study program “Business and Administration” (cycle I, bachelor) by integrating STEAM (²Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics²) skills in several aspects: Economic, Environmental and Social. Following the discussions, new research themes for the year and undergraduate theses in STEAM fields will be formulated.
