On April 6, 2023, the Department of Economics and Management within the Faculty of Economic and Business Engineering, Technical University of Moldova organized the 1st workshop on ″STEAM fields and ECONOMIC challenges″.
The aim of the Workshop was to integrate STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) with ECONOMIC aspects regarding sustainable development in direct relation to local problems in the private and public sectors, including those with relevant innovation potential in the fields of industry, services, and agriculture.
The event was attended by representatives of the business environment, teaching staff and students of the “Business and Administration” study program, respectively:
- 6 local companies from the service sector and agriculture;
- 12 teachers from the Department of Economics and Management;
- 18 students from the ″ Business & Administration″ degree program, as well as from other specializations such as Accounting and General Economics.
The discussions focused on the transfer of knowledge and the exchange of best practices to better adapt the curricula of the “Business and Administration” study program to the demands of the labor market.
