On February 20-21, 2025, the STEAM Center within the Faculty of Economics, Engineering and Applied Sciences hosted the Training Session for students with the title ″Modern Strategies to Drive Sustainable Business 4.0 models life cycle″. This event was organized within the framework of the ERASMUS-EDU-CBHE project “Developing and improving STEAM competences of students and teachers for curricular innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses”.
According to the agenda, the European partners shared their experience regarding: “Business Management for Sustainable Development” Prof. Dr. Eng. Elena FLEACĂ, Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania; “Models for assessing the impact of decisions within a business” Prof. Dr. Grigore Ioan PIROSCA, Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Romania; “Managing Sustainable Business Models 4.0 with a Life Cycle Approach” Dr. hab ing Andrei MARCINKOWSKI, Technical University of Lodz, Poland, as well as the partners from the Republic of Moldova came with a valuable contribution regarding efficient and sustainable business management.
The second part of the activity consisted of presenting the business plans prepared by the students of the faculty:
● The first team, formed by the third year students of the Business and Administration study program – GANCEA Livia, RAȘCENCO Mihaela, MALAI Vlad – presented the business plan “Recycling of grapevine waste by producing briquettes in the company file of SRL “Vinăria din Vale”;
● The second team, formed by the third year students of the Business and Administration study program – RADU Valentin, RARU Dana, CHIRIAC Vlad – presented the business plan “Reducing air pollution by diversifying urban transport with electric vehicles”;
● The third team, formed by the second year students, Business and Administration study program – CAVLAC Stela, TAMPIZA Augustina, COSTANDACHI Alina, TIRON Alina, ȚURCANU Alina, MIRON Viorica, TREVCO Maria – presented the business plan “Tiroliana Cahul Zipline”;
● The fourth team, formed by the second year students, Business and Administration study program – BRÎNZĂ Cătălina, ICHIM Cristina, AMPAVA Andrei – presented the business plan – “Innovation in winemaking: integrating thyme and lavender into the architecture of the artisanal taste of wine”;
● The fifth team, formed by the third year students, from the Food Industry Engineering and Management study program – LUNGU Daniel, EREMIA Dana, MOCANAȘ Alexandra, SLIPCENCO Valeria, PINICI Valeria – presented the business plan – “StudentFit: Healthy food for mind and body”;
● The sixth team, formed by third-year students from the Engineering and Management in the Machine Building Industry study program – GRIGORIU Maxim, CARANFIL Olivia, PASCAL Larisa, PĂDURE Cosmin, CALCATINJ Bogdan, SUMANSCHI Vladimir – presented the business plan “Silver Car Wash”.
This activity provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn from the experiences of experts in the field and to develop the skills necessary for a career in innovative and sustainable business.
