4th OUTREACH SESSION within the SKILLS4FUTURE project

On February 18, 2025 within the framework of Project No. 101081787 – ″Skills4future″Developing and improving the STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education and local businesses – the Fourth OUTREACH Session was held.

This session aimed to share institutional experience on the measures taken to modernize the curriculum in the Business and Administration program with STEAM elements, as well as to hold relevant discussions on the importance of STEAM skills for modern companies to connect to the values ​​of sustainability and Industry 4.0.

The event was attended by representatives of public institutions, teaching staff and students from the Law study program. The institutional coordinator of the project, Ms. Todos Irina, associate professor, PhD, gave a welcoming speech and informed the audience about the particularities of the Skills4future project, the main objectives, the activities carried out in a year and a half since the project was launched. The guests present at the event: Mr. Afteni Vitelie, Head of the South Operational Management and Intervention Center and Ms. Baba Elena, Senior Inspector of the Value Service in Customs, SRTN generously shared their experience, offering practical advice and inspiration to the participants.

The event highlighted the importance of soft skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity in building a successful career. Soft skills are essential to complement technical skills. Adaptability and effective communication make all the difference in today’s professional environment, and further development of these skills can accelerate career progression. Guests also highlighted the importance of managerial and leadership skills in institutional management and team management.

Collaboration between universities and the socio-economic environment contributes to educating future leaders, providing practical skills, strategic thinking and adaptation to modern challenges through real business cases and projects.
