First Follow-Up Meeting

On February 29, 2024, the Faculty of Real, Economic, and Environmental Sciences hosted the first follow-up meeting. This session provided an opportunity for students, professors, and invited entrepreneurs to become familiar with the project’s progress, completed activities, and future plans, with a particular emphasis on curriculum improvement in the field of Business and Administration.

During the event, entrepreneur Diana Macarschi shared her experience with her company EcoSoap, discussing the necessary steps for launching a business, strategies for promotion and sales, and highlighted the importance of successful sustainable businesses with minimal environmental impact.

A notable aspect of her presentation was the focus on sustainability and ecological responsibility at all stages of the business. Diana emphasized that in the production process of EcoSoap, only natural products are used, carefully selected not only for their effectiveness but also to ensure the superior quality of the finished products. This commitment to nature extends to the packaging, which is designed to be fully recyclable or biodegradable, thus reducing the company’s ecological footprint.

Furthermore, Diana explained that the success of a sustainable business is not limited to financial aspects but also involves a positive impact on the community and the environment. By using natural resources and eco-friendly packaging, EcoSoap demonstrates that it is possible to create products that meet the needs of modern consumers without sacrificing sustainability principles.

“Alecu Russo” State University of Bălți is dedicated to continuing its active participation in this project, sharing the knowledge and experience gained with the wider academic community and industrial sector partners. This commitment underscores the confidence in making a significant contribution to the development of students’ STEAM skills and preparing them to face the complex challenges of the current era.
