Skills4future_First Outreach Sessions_UTM

On 28.03.2024, the Center for STEAM Competences and Innovation within the Department of Economics and Management, FIEB, UTM, organized the First Outreach/Information Session about the Erasmus+ project “Skills4future – Developing and improving the STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses”. The event was attended by representatives from the business environment, teaching staff and students from the Business and Administration, Accounting, Finance and Banking study program.

The Outreach session was opened by the dean of the faculty, Mrs. Stela CUCOS, who mentioned the positive impact of the mentioned project on the quality of the study process within the faculty.

The project coordinator and the director of the Center for STEAM Competences and Innovation, Mrs. Aurelia LITVIN, informed the participants of the event, about the basic objective of the project, which consists in modernizing the curricula for the students of the Business and Administration study program, cycle I degree by integrating STEAM skills (Science , Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics). The specific objectives of the project also refer to sustainable development. The activities carried out during the first year of the project’s activity were also presented.

Mrs. Alina STRATIA mentioned the importance of working with the business environment, especially in the process of carrying out internships.

The entrepreneurs also participated in the discussion, who mentioned that they are open for collaboration and thanked for the opportunity to participate in such an event.
