On May 12, 2025, the 1st Exploitation Workshop entitled “Higher Education as drivers for entrepreneurship and innovation” was hosted by the Technical University of Moldova, Chișinău.
The workshop explored how higher education institutions (HEIs) can actively drive innovation and entrepreneurship. Participants engaged in collaborative activities to identify best practices, policy strategies, and institutional models that enhance the impact of academic research and education on real-world innovation ecosystems. The session highlighted case studies and supported the development of action plans for exploiting academic outputs to stimulate entrepreneurial growth and societal benefit.
The workshop was attended by:
- 10 professors of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business, Technical University of Moldova.
- 15 bachelor’s degree students 3rd year from the “Business and Administration“ and “Finance and Banking“ studies programs of the Technical University of Moldova
- 11 local practitioners representing business sectors such as services and agriculture;
- 2 key stakeholders (representatives from the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova, ODA)
