On September 13, 2024, the Bălţi branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI of the Republic of Moldova) organized the Information Session on the implementation of the international project ERASMUS+ / “Development and improvement of STEAM skills of students and teachers for curricular innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses” – Skills4future.
The information session was held as part of the Glodeni Business Forum – the region’s premier event focused on investment, economic growth, and digital transformation. During the session, the Director of CCI’s Bălți branch shared insights about supporting local producers, promoting their businesses, and collaborating with public authorities to organize such events. The project team then presented Skills4Future’s progress, demonstrating how its STEAM and sustainability programs benefit participants. These initiatives actively support local small businesses while encouraging youth entrepreneurship in rural communities across the country.
The information session was attended by:
- 2 teaching staff from the Faculty of Real, Economic and Environmental Sciences, USARB.
- 35 local entrepreneurs from different sectors: SC “Tex Agrotex” SRL; SC “Siret-Riscani”; SC “STAR Net Solutii” srl; “FinCom Bank” SA; “MoldiCom Bank” SA;
- 1 key local stakeholder from the Agency for Regional Development, North, etc.
