Outreach Session P6.ASEM

On September 11, 2024, the third information session organised by the Center for Competences and Innovation ²STEAM Innovation² within the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Business and Business Administration of ASEM took place. In the first part of the session, participants were informed about the activities and progress made within the Skills4Future project. The event brought together teachers, entrepreneurs, stakeholders, and students to explore how STEAM education drives innovation and sustainability. University-business partnerships help train future leaders by providing hands-on experience, strategic thinking, and real-world problem-solving through business cases and projects.

A key focus was the growing importance of soft skills—like communication, teamwork, and critical thinking—for career success. While technical skills are vital, adaptability and strong interpersonal abilities give professionals a competitive edge in today’s fast-changing job market. It was unanimously concluded that the Center for Skills and Innovation “STEAM Innovation” is of major importance in improving the relations between the academic and business environments.
