On November 26, 2024, the third information session organized by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the State University of Moldova, Chisinau and hosted by the center “STEAM Skills and Innovation”.
The event gathered teachers, entrepreneurs, stakeholders, and students for an interactive discussion on how STEAM education can boost innovation and sustainability. The USM project team kicked off the session by sharing updates on the Skills4Future project and its activities. Local business leaders then spoke about key topics like digitalizing businesses, managing projects in local companies, and the importance of Industry 4.0 technologies.
The information session was attended by:
- 7 Teaching staff from the departments of “Business Administration” and “Economics, Marketing and Tourism”, USM.
- 59 bachelor students, years I, II and III, “Business and Administration” and “Marketing and Logistics” specialties, USM.
- 7 representatives of the local business environment such as “Aden-Trans-Exim” SRL; “Urban Beans” SRL; “Timac Agro East” SRL; “Unispom-FSU” SRL; “Selina AC” SRL; “Ultra Limit” SRL; “Medconsulting Service” SRL.
- 2 local stakeholders: NGO “Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Moldova” (AFAM); The wine association of the CODRU delimited region.
