On March 15, 2025, the fourth information session organized by the Faculty of Real, Economic and Environmental Sciences of the State University “Alecu Russ” from Bălti and hosted by the Center for Skills and Innovation “STEAM Lab” took place.
During the information session, the local business representatives, students, and teachers were briefed on the achievements of the “Skills4future“ project and the upcoming activities aimed at modernising the curriculum, developing STEAM skills, engaging students in the business plan competition, and participating in conferences. The majority of the event was dedicated to informing and inspiring local communities about the benefits of participating in STEAM education programs, with a focus on sustainability. They learned how the flow of project activities supported and equipped students with the skills needed for solving local sustainability issues.
The information session was attended by:
- 2 teaching staff from the Department of Economic Sciences, USARB
- 13 second-year and third-year students in USARB’s ²Business Administration², ²Accounting, Finance and Banking² degree programs
- 5 representatives of the local business environment, such as SA “Mold Telecom Balti”; ICS „GG Cables& Wires EE”-srl; IMSP Spitalul Clinic Balti, etc.
- 2 local stakeholders: “Chamber of Commerce and Industry” and “Business Innovation Centre Nortek“.
