On October 11, 2024, the National Institute of Economic Research (NIER) organised the second Outreach session regarding the implementation of the ERASMUS+ international project “skills4fututre“.
The NIER Director opened the session by stressing the event’s importance and presenting NIER’s key research accomplishments in social and economic sciences, particularly their connection to STEAM education and research career advancement. The event then featured a presentation of the Skills4Future project, outlining its objectives, the involvement of NIER researchers, and recent project activities. The discussion brought together representatives from Moldovan, Ukrainian, and Romanian universities and research institutions, who exchanged perspectives and best practices on promoting STEAM education.
The discussion was attended by both students and guests from the local business environment. The information session was attended by:
- 16 Teachers from the Academy of Economics Studies of Moldova; University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Bucharest, Romania; Institute for Research in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, Bucharest, Romania; and National Technology University from Odesa, Ukraine.
- 17 Students from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.
- 20 Practitioners from NIER, Business representatives of the agrifood sector.
- 2 key stakeholders (Representative of the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture National Federation of Farmers of Moldova).
