On November 14, 2024, the 2nd Multiplier Conference entitled “STEAM skills for ENVIRONMENTAL growth” was hosted by the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. The Event was held in celebration of World Quality Day, organized by the Departments of Management and Entrepreneurship and Commerce, Tourism and Public Catering from the Faculty of Business and Administration.
The event gathered quality experts, academics, industry professionals, and students to explore key topics in STEAM education and quality management. Discussions focused on developing STEAM skills for environmental sustainability and shifting from traditional quality standards to sustainable business practices. The conference featured presentations and debates on critical issues including quality control in logistics and sustainable development strategies. The event aimed to highlight how STEAM education can address local challenges and to establish a network for sharing and implementing project outcomes at both local and national levels.
The multiplier event was attended by:
- 51 professors of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Chisinau, including members of the project group.
- 91 students, 3rd year students from bachelor programs in Business & Administration of P6. ASEM, and from other universities
- 23 local practitioners representing business sectors such as SE BORDNETZE, EFES Vitanta Moldova, ProCredit SA, IS CMAC, Top Consulting SRL, VnCompany SRL, etc.
- 3 key stakeholders (representatives from Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova; Pro Consumers Association, ISSPNPC)
