On December 3, 2024, the 2nd Multiplier Conference entitled “STEAM skills for ENVIRONMENTAL growth” washosted by the Center “STEAM Skills and Innovation” of the Moldova State University, Chișinău. The event focused on sharing effective methods for building STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) skills in higher education. The second Multiplier Event aimed to pinpoint STEAM competencies that can help address local environmental challenges, supporting sustainable, collaborative, and innovative growth for the national economy.
Key objectives included:
- Expanding the impact through a series of conferences that highlight STEAM education and sustainability skills.
- Encouraging the exchange of best practices in STEAM learning and promoting the use of project outcomes.
The multiplier event was attended by:
- 7 professors of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, USM, including members of the project group.
- 64 bachelor’s degree students, 2nd and 3rd year in the specialities “Business and Administration” from USM.
- 8 local practitioners representing business sectors such as the Association of Business Women of Moldova – “AFAM”, ASUSM – Student Self-Government Association, The Wine Association of the delimited geographical region “CODRU”, “Selina-AC” SRL, “Inclusive Delivery” LTD, “Nova Lines” SRL.
- 2 experts from the Office of Diaspora Relations within the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research.
