On November 22, 2024, the 1st Multiplier Conference entitled “STEAM skills for ECONOMIC growth” was hosted by the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. The Event highlighted the role of STEAM education in solving local societal challenges and creating a network for sharing project results.
During the event, a new university textbook on management was launched, developed by faculty members. This resource is designed to enhance modern management skills and strengthen STEAM competencies for future professionals, serving as a valuable tool for students and practitioners alike.
The event brought together students, academics, and business representatives. Speakers emphasised the textbook’s importance in preparing skilled professionals, while business leaders shared insights and encouragement. Top-performing students were recognised for their innovative projects and received copies of the textbook as a reward for their achievements.
The multiplier event was attended by:
- 21 professors of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, Chisinau, including members of the project group.
- 27 students, 1st year students from bachelor programs in Business & Administration of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and the Technical University of Moldova, Chișinău.
- 24 local practitioners representing business sectors such as MAIB, Bioprotect SRL, EFES Vitanta Moldova, Dorans Grup SRL, Conformitate TV, Dulcinela, EuroAtlant SRL, etc.
