On October 29, 2024, the 1st Multiplier Conference entitled “STEAM skills for ECONOMIC growth” was hosted by the Center “STEAM Skills and Innovation” of the Moldova State University, Chișinău. The event promoted sharing best practices for developing STEAM competencies in higher education. This included aligning curricula with local development needs and learning from STEAM-integrated internships at partner universities.
The discussions focused on well-developed, practical themes, helping to shape education and research outcomes tailored to local needs. Moving forward, incorporating the Skills4Future project’s results into entrepreneurial education should remain a priority for enhancing the “Business and Administration” program at USM.
The multiplier event was attended by:
- 7 professors of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, USM, including members of the project group.
- 137 bachelor’s degree students in the specialities “Business and Administration”, “Marketing and Logistics”, “Finance and Banking”, “Housing Services, Tourism and Leisure” from USM.
- 12 local practitioners representing business sectors such as GBS” SRL, “Sarks Agency” SRL, “Construct Solution” SRL, “UltraLimit” SRL, Public Wine Association of the delimited geographical region “CODRU”, Association of Business Women of Moldova – “AFAM” etc.
- 1 expert of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research.
