On November 29, 2024, the Business Incubator of Cahul (ICAH) organised the multiplier conference “STEAM skills for Economic, Environmental and Social responsibilities”. The event united entrepreneurs, professionals, students, and academics to examine how STEAM skills can drive sustainable growth for local businesses.
Cahul Business Incubator manager opened the conference by stressing how interdisciplinary education helps build sustainable business practices. Discussions focused on implementing green technologies, overcoming sustainability challenges, and STEAM education’s role in fostering eco-conscious entrepreneurship. Interactive sessions allowed participants to collaborate on practical ways to embed STEAM approaches into local economies. These workshops generated actionable ideas for combining business innovation with ecological development, equipping attendees with tools to apply sustainability principles in their professional and academic work.
The session was attended by:
- 6 teachers from USCH, Pedagogy, Romanian Language and Literature, Economics, Engineering
- 26 students from undergraduate programs at USCH, specialization in Pedagogy, English, Public Administration, Business and Administration, Engineering
- 15 Residents of the Cahul Business Incubator, practitioners from the IT field, Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
- 3 Key stakeholders (Municipal enterprise, non-governmental organizations, Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Branch Cahul )
