Lessons Learnt workshop

During June 13-14, 2024, the National Institute of Economic Research of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova organized the workshop  within the ERASMUS+ Skills4future project dedicated to the lessons learned from the practical lessons and internships carried out by students.

During the workshop, recommendations for improving courses and internships were collected from teachers and practitioners and the business environment, presented by partner institutions and business representatives. During the workshop, the project partners and teachers reviewed the activities and drew recommendations for improvement for the undergraduate programs in Business & Administration and the development of skills for students and teachers.

During the working session, discussions aimed at improving aspects such as:

  • Taking into account the high degree of satisfaction related to the introduction of practical exercises for the newly added STEAM subjects in the modernized disciplines, the participants highlighted the need to continue improving practical learning through more detailed business involvement, providing success stories, creating strong partnerships, etc. .
  • Aspects of sustainability were addressed during the discussions, as well as the implementation of hands-on learning through the provision of internships, field work and lessons related to sustainability and the promotion of interdisciplinary learning. At the same time, the development of local partnerships can be achieved through collaborations between universities, businesses and civil society organizations.

The event was attended by:

  • 6 teachers from partner universities in the project.
  • 14 practitioners, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI); The National Institute of Economic Research (NIER) and the Cahul Business Incubator (ICAH).
