Follow-up Session P7.TUM

During 12-13 December 2024, the third follow-up session was held at the Technical University of Moldova, Chisinau with the aim of analyzing the activities and identifying improvements and recommendations for the undergraduate programs in Business and Administration and the development of STEAM skills for students and teachers.

The follow-up session was attended by:

  • 15 teachers from project consortium and the Department of Economy and Management, Technical University of Moldova (TUM)
  • 58 students from the undergraduate program of Business and Business Administration, TUM.
  • 6 practitioners, representatives of the local business environment such as MAIB, Chisinau, NOVUM (Spania), ’’Artmarketing”, Chisinau, “Magenta Consulting”, Chisinau, SRL Net ADV, Chisinau, Autogrup Expres SRL, Chisinau.

During the working session, discussions aimed at improving aspects such as:

  • Teaching sustainability & tech together – Include green tech, circular economy, and digital skills (AI/data) in STEAM lessons.
  •  Making learning hands-on – Students should solve real-world problems by working across science, tech, arts, and math fields.
  • Using modern tools – Teachers should add AI and data analytics to make lessons more interactive and practical.
  • Connecting classrooms to businesses – Partner with companies to keep STEAM skills relevant to today’s challenges.

During the follow-up session, the project team visited Moldova’s famous Cricova Winery to study its sustainable winemaking practices. The visit demonstrated how this historic producer successfully blends traditional techniques with modern environmental solutions, maintaining both business excellence and ecological responsibility. Participants gained practical insights into sustainable entrepreneurship through real-world examples of energy efficiency, waste reduction, and heritage preservation.
