On May 21, 2024, the second follow-up session organized by the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship of the Academy of Economic Studies from Moldova, Chisinau took place with the aim of analyzing the activities and identifying improvements and recommendations for the undergraduate programs in Business and Administration and development of STEAM skills for students and teachers.
The follow-up session was attended by:
- 5 teaching staff from partner universities in the project and from the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship within ASEM
- 14 students from the undergraduate program of Business and Business Administration, ASEM.
- 5 practitioners, representatives of C.I.C.B.S.R.L., MACIP, USMF.,BN Joc, Lunimar-Prim SRL.
During the working session, important aspects were discussed and analyzed regarding the improvement of internships intended for students and the identification of the essential skills that must be developed in order to provide them with a meaningful formative STEAM experience, as well as discussions aimed at improving aspects such as:
- The collaboration between the university and the business environment to include in the internship plan topical topics for companies and subsequently monitor more frequently the activity of students at the economic units.
- Internships allow the development of STEAM skills at a high level, but the relevant choice of the internship unit is necessary.
- Collaboration between universities and companies is still necessary to succeed in training students according to the specifics of the current circumstances in the national economy.
