On October 6, 2025, the 3rd Exploitation Workshop entitled “New Governance and management systems for sustainable HEIs” was hosted by the Technical University of Moldova, Chișinău.
This workshop examined how innovative governance and management systems enable higher education institutions (HEIs) to strengthen their role in fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development. Through collaborative discussions, participants identified good practices, policy approaches, and institutional models that enhance the societal and economic impact of education and research.
The session showcased relevant case studies and supported the formulation of action-oriented recommendations for leveraging academic outputs to reinforce innovation ecosystems and long-term institutional sustainability.
The workshop was attended by:
- 10 professors of the Department of Economy and Management, Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business, Technical University of Moldova.
- 20 bachelor’s degree students 3rd year from the “Business and Administration“ and “Finance and Banking“ studies programs of the Technical University of Moldova
- 12 local practitioners representing business sectors such as services and agriculture;
- 2 key stakeholders (representatives from the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova, ODA)
- 1 representative of IFAD – Consolidated Programme Implementation Unit
