On June 17, 2025, the 1st Exploitation Workshop entitled “Higher Education as drivers for entrepreneurship and innovation” was hosted by the “STEAM Skills and Innovation Center”, Faculty of Economic Science from the Moldova State University, Chișinău.
The event aimed to support the further exploitation of good practices and results achieved within the Skills4Future project by strengthening the connection between education, research, innovation, and the private sector.
The 1st Exploitation Workshop brought together representatives of the local business community, including companies from the agriculture, services, finance, creative, and industrial sectors. The workshop showcased key project results and good practices, highlighting their impact on entrepreneurial education and the development of STEAM skills, with a particular focus on innovation and digitalisation.
Through interactive discussions, students, teachers, and business representatives addressed challenges related to youth employability and the integration of STEAM skills into curricula. Employers shared insights on labour-market needs, internship opportunities, and future cooperation with higher education institutions.
The workshop was attended by:
- 12 professors of the Departments of “Business Administration”, “Accounting and Economic Informatics”, “Finance and Banking”, “Economics, Marketing and Tourism”, Moldova State University.
- 17 bachelor’s degree students from bachelor programs in Business & Administration, Faculty of Economic Sciences, Moldova State University.
- 15 local practitioners representing business sectors such as “Lozviac-Agro” SRL, “TMMARKET” SRL, “Tetis International Co” SRL, OCN “Microinvest” SRL, “Go&Create” SRL, “Gecko VFX” SRL, SA “Ungheni-Vin”, “Dalup-Agro” SRL, CSD “LAB” SRL, “Fitness One” SRL, SC “Zurzulea-Com” SRL, “Parasciuc Ecaterina” SRL, “Arvi-Invest Trading” SRL, the Wine Association of the delimited geographical region “CODRU”, “International Bible Mission” Foundation.
