Between September 15-22, 2025, the activities of the “Digital & Green” week organized by the State University “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” from Cahul (USCH) took place. The activities contributed to increasing interest in choosing a career and professional training in the field of interest and contributed to increasing corporate involvement in the training of specialists and strengthening the professional skills of the participants.
The events emphasized the importance of transversal competencies and offered a new perspective on how students, regardless of their field of study, can become agents of change within their communities. Discussions focused on how smart technologies are applied in modern farms and slaughterhouses, models for integrating value chains in the livestock sector, the need to develop digital skills among young specialists.
The participants in the activities of the “Digital & Green” week:
- 5 teachers from USCH with experience in finance and accounting;
- 54 students from bachelor’s degree programs in Business & Administration, Engineering and Management in Food Industry, Machine Construction, Informatics, Finance and Accounting, from USCH
- 5 invited speakers from the local business sector such as “Bacii Sudului”, “South Victoriabank“, “Tigheci Hills Local Action Group Association“, “Dimeliano LLL“.
