TUL is a public technical university established in 1945. It ranks as the 4th best technical university and the 3rd most innovative HEI in Poland. It offers 60 engineering study programmes taught at 9 faculties for about 13 thousand students

Internationalization is of the key importance for TUL’s development strategy. The University’s cooperation network involves over 400 partnerships with institutions from all over the world committed to joint science, research and student exchange initiatives. USARB is one of the oldest and unique university in the northern part of Moldova. USM is the oldest and biggest university in Moldova with a broad range of study programs and research areas. MSU is  member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), the Francophone University Agency (AUF), the Eurasian Association of Universities (AEU) and has experience in international projects, Tempus and Erasmus + projects.

The strategy of USM has defined objectives for modernization of curricula, development of creativity, support of innovation, and establishment of international cooperation in the context of European integration. TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF MOLDOVA (TUM), Republic of Moldova – project partner

TUM was founded in 1964 being the only higher education institution for engineering in the Republic of Moldova. The mission is to provide the young generation with quality education by combining educational excellence, research and innovation. TUM aims to contribute to building a sustainable knowledge-based society and economy, while offering students opportunities for personality formation and development of creative and critical thinking skills.

TUM includes 11 faculties and is recognized for its outstanding results in the field of scientific research both nationally and internationally. TUM’s research centers successfully implement the university’s research strategy via multiple grants and project-based research funding. One of the priorities of the institution is international collaboration in the field of education and research. On the basis of bilateral agreements, UTM students are able to carry out internships in European countries, benefitting from the opportunity to improve their foreign language skills and intercultural abilities.

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), is a specialized agency of the United Nations, was established as an international multilateral financial institution in 1977 as one of the major outcomes of the 1974 World Food Conference. IFAD is dedicated to eliminating hunger and rural poverty in developing countries.

IFAD Consolidated Programme Implementation Unit (CPIU IFAD) was created by the Government of the Republic of Moldova for the implementation of IFAD programmes, after the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the International Agricultural Development Fund in 1996.

The components of the IFAD programs shall be implemented in accordance with the procedures established and approved by the IFAD in agreement with the Government of the Republic of Moldova.

CPIU IFAD shall be responsible for the management, implementation, and monitoring of the activities of the programs as well as the coordination of activities with the institutions and organizations participating in the implementation of the programs.
